The Adelaide Produce Market is the marketing and distribution centre for fresh fruit and vegetables in South Australia. Located in Pooraka 20 minutes north of the Adelaide central business district, our commercial wholesale market allows for the exchange and sale of fresh fruit and vegetables between growers, wholesalers, supermarkets, greengrocers, food processors, exporters and providores. An estimated 250,000 tonnes of fresh produce passes through the Adelaide Produce Market system each year, worth an estimated wholesale value of $750 million.
