Fresh Produce leader appoints retail advertising specialist to boost fruit and vegetable consumption

The Adelaide Produce Market is happy to announce that it has appointed Zest Advertising to help the independent retail sector boost fruit and vegetables sales.

Campaigning under the name, Burst of Freshness, the commercials are aimed at getting more people interested in fruit and vegetables and how they can be used to make quick, easy and very healthy meals at home. The market has recently signed up 2010 MasterChef finalist and local foodie, Callum Hann to front the commercials to push the message of healthy eating.

“After an extensive short listing process, we are delighted to have appointed Zest Advertising for the next twelve months. We were very impressed with their creative ideas and their track record, especially in the very competitive retail sector” Adelaide Produce Market spokesperson Julian Carbone said.

‘Every easy great recipe starts with a burst of freshness’ will be the new slogan.

“Each fortnight a different commercial will air on television promoting which fresh produce is in good supply and Callum will explain which recipe is a perfect match”, Mr. Carbone said.

Recipe cards promoted in the commercials will be available in selected stores across Adelaide and the suburbs.

“It addition to Callum, real people from the local fresh produce industry will also be staring in the commercials as well as their stores. There won’t be any paid professional actors in the commercials” Mr. Carbone said.
